Product Usage:

SilibaseCT-SOT9 Stannous Octoate is often used as a good agent for polyurethane products and room temperature curing silicone rubber. Because it is a trivalent tin compound, it is easily oxidized to tetravalent tin compound after foaming, and it can play the role of antioxidant in the foam, and it has no adverse effect on the foam. It is also used as a catalyst type curing agent for epoxy resin. In the curing of stannous octanoate than dibutyltin laurate catalytic activity, if the two are used in combination, the effect is better than the sole use.

Storage Precautions:
Since divalent tin compounds are easily oxidized and decomposed by oxygen and water vapor in the air, they should be protected with nitrogen during storage and must be sealed. Avoid high temperature and excessive humidity to prevent activity decline or failure. Stored in a cool and ventilated warehouse, it should be stored separately from oxidants.
